MANILA, Philippines – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. led the campaign kickoff for his senatorial candidates in his hometown, Laoag, Ilocos Norte, on Tuesday, February 11.
In his speech at the Centennial Arena, Marcos packaged his 12 anointed bets as key to achieving his “Bagong Pilipinas (New Philippines) vision.
The Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas slate is composed of reelectionists, aspiring returnees, and candidates from political clans. The coalition brings together Marcos’ Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, Lakas-CMD, the Nationalist People’s Coalition, the Nacionalista Party, and the National Unity Party.
